Building Communities of Faith
Toowoomba City Church has a thirty year history in this city.  TCC began and developed as a church seeking to build a strong sense of community; a mini-village within the wider community.  As well as being a family oriented church, we enjoy working together with the other churches of Toowoomba.

We seek to care for & love all people groups within our community. From this foundation, we contribute both within our borders and beyond to the world we live in.  We exist to make a difference, as we are able, to our needy planet.

Please take the opportunity to discuss with a leader how you might exercise your gifts and function as a part of our church family.

Ian & Betty Shelton

Our Journey - TCC began from two key thoughts:
That God is interested in bringing salvation to entire cities and nations and that the church in the city must be united together in order to release God into a city.

One of the key verses from the beginning was 1 Cor 3:16 (Amp).
“Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?”

On a broad level this is reflected in things like:

C.L.N. (Christian Leaders Network)
This is a network of approx. 80 pastors that meet each Friday. They meet together to worship and pray for our city and to build strong relationships between church leaders. Visit CLN site.

A.N.S. (All Nations Service) Friday Night Live!
This ministry reaches out to different cultures within our city; those that are currently visiting or have moved to Toowoomba.

Prayer Summits & City Transformation
These are key times when pastors from Toowoomba, around Australia and internationally gather to pray and grow in their heart for God and His plan to reach cities and nations.

Translinc
A network of pastors from the South Pacific region who share the same desire to see their cities and nation transformed for God.  There are pastors from many nations currently in this network.

One Heart
One Heart seeks to encourage the church to discover and enter into its God-given destiny.
Our vision is to see Australia and its communities achieve this through the coming together of the Body of Christ.

Our Affiliation
Apart from C.L.N., we belong to Crosslink , a network of churches across the nation that share the same heart and vision for cities and unity.
