"Emu Gully
Adventure Education Group focuses on developing Christian character and values..."
Leadership training based on character is a
special emphasis of the activities. The Anzac theme is used as a backdrop for
the programs. Many of the activities are built around epic Anzac events such as
the Western Front, the Kokoda Track and the Siege of Tobruk etc.
As well as great
problem solving and teambuilding activities, they provide a hands-on history
lesson about an important part of our Australian heritage. Even more
importantly, the many thousands of young people who pass through the facility
each year, are confronted with the Anzac character values of courage, endurance,
self-sacrifice and mateship.
There is a staff
of seven, with many part-time workers and volunteers. If you would like to know
more about Emu Gully Adventure Education Group, and even how you could
be involved, Barry Rodgers would be delighted to talk with you.
